Community Roots Tote

From the Community Roots Crew:
We are selling tote bags designed by Community Roots. They are so cool! We are selling these bags to raise money for the Red Door Pantry. We designed and made these bags with special Community Roots emblems.

About Community Roots: Community Roots is a student action group that rallies around the issues that face our school community and the greater neighborhood. Students identify the needs of our community and lead us through the collective challenges that we face. Every Monday we meet to engage in exciting community-oriented activities. Students learn about and support local community centers through urban gardening, recycling and climate change initiatives, health, housing and food services, and many other service opportunities within our school and across our beloved neighborhood.

These tote bags have been designed to not only raise awareness of the Community Roots group, it is also to support our local food pantry, The Red Door Pantry. Students work very closely with our partners at the Church of the Village where the pantry is located, and have decided they wish to create a running Fundraiser to support the amazing work they do in the community. The sale of each tote bag will go directly to the Red Door Pantry.
